Thank you so much for considering our services. When hiring a home inspector there is a lot to consider. One of the things to consider is pricing. But there is more. For example, check out the following pages: Is Your Inspector Qualified? | Licensed-Insured-Bonded. Nickelsen Home Inspections, LLC caters it’s services to clients who are looking for very good home inspection services and home inspection reports: we are not the cheapest option, and have no intention to be so. Like any industry, from real estate to construction, from business supplies to airlines, there are always going to be “bottom feeders”. Just like you have the option of having a General Contractor or a handy man, yet both can be considered “contractors”, the home inspection industry offers consumers a wide array of options and prices change accordingly. Really, when hiring a home inspector you aren’t necessarily comparing apples to apples; you are usually comparing apples to oranges. This isn’t a bad thing, it is part of economics. If after considering the referenced pages, after asking us for a sample copy of a home inspection report, and if after discussing our services over the phone or by email you are still interested in only getting the cheapest conceivable inspection we are more than happy to help you find that person. In fact, we know who they are and we would be very happy to put you into contact with them. Again, we mean this sincerely: we have referred many clients who are interested in price alone to other inspection companies in the past and we are more than happy to do so. But, if you want us, we would be honored! Generally we are going to be $10-$75 more than most of our competition, depending on the size and age of the property being inspected, or the type of service being provided. Sometimes our prices are the same, and sometimes, though rarely, they are cheaper.
